Accessibility
MALKI should be welcoming and usable.
We want people to be able to explore MALKI, request a service, access their private tracker, and understand event information with as few barriers as possible.
MALKI wants its website, communications, services, and gatherings to be welcoming and usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
Our approach
Accessibility is ongoing work. MALKI aims to design and maintain malkistudios.com with recognized accessibility practices in mind and is working toward alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
Our efforts may include:
- clear page structure and descriptive headings;
- keyboard access and visible focus states;
- readable type, spacing, and color contrast;
- text alternatives for meaningful images;
- captions or transcripts for meaningful prerecorded media where appropriate;
- clear labels, instructions, and error messages for forms;
- layouts that support browser zoom and different screen sizes;
- reduced-motion support where motion is not essential;
- descriptive links and buttons; and
- accessible alternatives for important documents or content when reasonably available.
Because standards, technology, content, and services change, we cannot promise that every page or feature will always be free of barriers. We review feedback and make reasonable improvements over time.
Third-party platforms
MALKI may link to or use third-party services for payments, scheduling, event registration, ticketing, maps, social media, forms, video, or other functions. MALKI does not control every part of those platforms or their accessibility. If a third-party experience prevents you from completing an important action, contact us and we will try to provide a reasonable alternative.
Service and event accommodations
If you need an accommodation to inquire about, book, or participate in a MALKI service or MALKI Social, please contact us as early as reasonably possible. Helpful details may include the service or event, date, the barrier you encountered, and the format or accommodation that would help.
MALKI will consider requests individually and will work in good faith to identify a reasonable option. Some accommodations may depend on advance notice, venue conditions, third-party providers, safety, or the nature of the activity.
Feedback and assistance
If you have difficulty accessing any part of the website or need information in another format, please contact:
Email: [accessibility email] Phone: [accessibility phone, if offered] Mailing address: [business mailing address]
Please include, if possible:
- the page, link, document, service, or event involved;
- a short description of the problem;
- the browser, device, or assistive technology you were using, if relevant; and
- the best way to contact you.
MALKI will review the request and respond as soon as reasonably possible. You will not be required to disclose a diagnosis unless specific information is legally necessary to evaluate an accommodation.
Statement updates
MALKI may revise this statement as its website, services, and accessibility practices develop. The current version will remain available on this page with its latest update date.
